When planning our wedding, TAylor had one request: good golf. So naturally, HE's kicking off wedding weekend with The Taylor Cup—a morning on the course + a little friendly competition.

But don't let the names fool you.

This isn't bride's side vs. groom's side. Everyone goes into one draft pool + anyone is fair game. Taylor can draft Taylor's dad. Taylor can steal Taylor's best friend. Family ties + lifelong loyalties mean absolutely nothing here.

And while TT won't be playing, she'll be taking her role as captain very seriously. Her job? Draft the best team possible + let them do the golfing.

Once we know who's interested, we'll pick our teams + announce the official lineups before wedding weekend.

HOW IT WORKS

18 HOLES · TEAM SCRAMBLE
Everyone plays in groups, with each golfer hitting a tee shot. The group chooses the best shot, everyone plays from that spot + the process repeats until the ball is in the hole.

Each group works together to shoot the lowest score possible, with results contributing to their team's overall standing.

The exact groups + scoring will be determined once we know who's playing.

Best team takes The Taylor Cup.

THE DRAFT

Handicaps will help keep the teams relatively balanced. After that? Captain's discretion.

Friends can become opponents. Family members can be stolen. Alliances will be tested.

Lobbying a captain is not technically prohibited.

Friday morning, you’ll play for it. Friday night, we make it official.

The winning team will be recognized at the Welcome Party with the presentation of The Taylor Cup.

Yes, there will be a trophy. Obviously.
